Hi, my name is Ngozi. I am a wife and mother to two teen daughters and a young adult son. My story is one of endurance and a journey to self-love and empowerment.
If anyone had told me that my fairy tale of being married with children would not be as I had imagined it, I would have thought they were lying.
I remember when the reality of life as an adult had set in. No one told me I should have saved up for my children’s education before they were born. My husband and I had bills to pay and mouths to feed. I worked in an organisation that thrived on office politics and discrimination, my marriage union was a case of two egos clashing. I had a number of sleepless nights which all compounded, until one night I had a nervous breakdown. This huge climax was a result of excessive regrets of the past, and undue fear and worry about the future.
Despite my educational accomplishments, I moved from one low paying job to another. Once the buzz of working in a new place had worn off, I would get the internal nudge to move on to something else. I felt unfulfilled and did not know what my purpose for living was. I wondered to myself whether that was how I was going to live for the rest of my life.
I remember waking up one day and realising that my situation had gotten dire. I was full of fear and self-doubt. I didn’t know how I was going to get out of the mess I had found myself in, but I knew I was willing to change. Little did I know that there were many hurdles to jump on the road to creating my perfect life. I never knew that I would be ‘severely’ tested to go out of my comfort zone!
Fast forward to a few years since my nervous breakdown and the height of my anxiety, and I am more confident and able to tap into the power that is available to me from the Source of all good.
I have learnt that if I am to successfully navigate the often difficult world in which we live, I must learn how to overcome my fears so that I can move toward creating the life I love.
Side note: I still get those ‘what if’ thoughts, but thankfully, these thoughts have quietened down a lot, thanks to an awesome support network of family, friends, coaches and mentors.
My aim is to help as many unfulfilled mums as possible to gain clarity on who they are and create the life they love. I aim to empower them to push through uncomfortable situations for their highest good.
I am working to creating financial and time freedom for myself and I aim to help other mums achieve this if they so desire.
